Old Barn

I decided to try my hand at a Bob Ross-type painting. The Spring watercolor class I MAY be teaching...my Go-Between with my local municipality, asked me to consider creating a "Follow Along" class. She felt it might be a greater draw if people can just follow me as I paint on the spot and just copy what I do. I have never done fast Bob Ross style oil painting before. So I watched a few YOUTUBE videos of Ross and a few other similar artists to get an idea of how to do it.  I sat down this afternoon and tried my hand at it, and this is the result. Lots of cute brush tricks and techniques but not a lot of REAL painting going on here.  I don't know if I like it or not. I feel kind of cheap doing it this way...but it will probably get me more students into seats. Comments are welcome...I'm such a whore!
